Hey everyone
I woke up today a little more awake than yesterday : ) I had my usually pre-workout bar before heading to the gym. Definitely going to be adding this little bar to our Pure2Raw product line because it helps with providing the nutrients I need to succeed while exercising.

Okay now I am ready for my run.
Gina and I headed to the gym…so I was determined to get a good run on the treadmill. I had no excuse not too because I was feeling good.
My workout:
- 5 min – 6.0
- 5 min- 6.1
- 5 min – 6.2
- 5 min – 6.3
- 5 min – 6.4
- 4 min – 6.5 (I got 3 miles, so improved it by 1 minute)
- 1 min – walked
Then I went into my 3:1 (run 3 min and walk 1).
I ran a good pace at 6.6 till I got a little over 5 miles. I was determined to get 6 miles under an hour.
AND I DID!!
The last mile I ran at 6.7 and finished at 58 min 30s, so improved my time be a few minutes
I was so happy and felt good, besides my lower back aching (from the hotel bed).
I really have noticed my performance improving ever since I have been making sure I eat right. Not just by eating vegan, raw foods, but eating the right food before and after I workout. My recovery time has improved as well. So I am really excited to get into my marathon training grove when I get back to NC!
My post-workout shake was a hemp protein shake with maca, sun is shining, mesquite, stevia, & cinnamon. It tasted alright…I sure miss my green smoothies that are nicely blended up and delicious!!
Well time for class at 105 degrees with Gina. Got some exciting things happening today…I am staying after class to help Gina and Kelly out with some pastries, then we are having a girls dinner tonight at 105 degrees.
