Hey bloggies,
How is everyone?? Good I hope
Today has been a decent day for the twins. We got all of our raw dessert goodies done for our Saturday farmers markets… we will take pictures tomorrow of everything. But here is a sneak pick at our Mrs. Bella Cullen or Mrs. Dracula raw cupcake! We have not decided on the name, what do you like?
We had to try one…. soooo good! I think Edward would approve
Okay one more picture

Are you drooling yet???
Than it was time to take a break from playing in the kitchen and go workout. We fueled our workout today with Vega Sport Drink. Slowly getting used to the taste of it. This is our third time trying it. The first two times we had it before our long run days…. but we wanted to see how we did with trying it before a shorter run.
Twins Workout:
8 mile run out on our trail in about 75 minutes (so we are improving our time!)
- started with doing 3:1
- the last 20 minutes we ran the whole time (with 3 large hills)
Followed by some Yoga
- did 15 minutes of a quick yoga session
Overall: workout was great. The Vega Sport drink has been sitting fine in our stomachs
Despite it makes us have to go pee about 15 minutes into our run.
Though we have made other pre-workout snacks that have given us the same results in how we feel during our workout. I would say I would buy this but definitely don’t think you need to have it before every time you workout. We both felt great the first 45 minutes of our run. Our legs started to feel a little heavy once we hit our last few miles. But managed to keep up a really good pace despite the tired legs
We think Vega Sport is a good product but necessary! It did help give us energy and have a good performance, which all athletes are looking for. Although are favorite Vega product is still the Complete Whole Food Health Optimizer. Which we had as our post-workout shake today. We just love it!

We still did not notice any soreness from our long run on Tuesday or from our yoga session yesterday! Fantastic! So this is great for all you runners out there…no soreness after a hard run!
We are both getting really excited for our marathon. Although it is still 11 weeks away, so we are hoping we can keep up this good feeling : )
About an hour later we made a raspberry cilantro parsley lime smoothie!
We just love cilantro and raspberry’s together…. one of our favorites at the moment!
We are starting to get hungry again so we plan on making a simple arugula artichoke avocado salad with one slice of raw green flatbreads! Also we are going to try not to inhale enjoy another Mrs. Bella Cupcake before the night is over…. might just have to whip us up a dessert too so it keeps us away!!!
Look what came in the mail today
We will be in the kitchen tonight making more water kefir and kombucha!!
Twins Question: What Vega product do you like best? Have you tried the Vega Sport before?Do you notice any improvements in your workouts?
Till next time,
The Twins

LOVE the treats!
Not a fan of Vega products, sorry.
Those cupcakes are amazing!!!! you two are culinary wizards!
i love the vega whole food optimizer in chocolate or chai. But i think i like Vega sport the best! it is excellent!
The Vega product you like better…I think it tastes like Dirt. I agree with Veggiegirl on that one
The new one is way better to me but yeah, I would be more into the coco water you scored.
Nice cupcakes too! U posting the recipe anytime soon? I doubt it b/c I bet those are for sale
I hope you sell lots b/c they are too cute and I wish I lived closer, I’d buy a dozen!
I can’t answer that question yet, since I haven’t tried it. However, I can’t thank you enough for sending it to me. I’ll post about it when I get a chance.
Love the cupcakes, by the way. I like the way the drizzle spills over them like blood (that sounds so weird). Is it an icing or a n’ice cream underneath that drizzle?
I am glad the samples made it Shannon! The filling in the cupcakes is bananas, raspberries, beet juice, coconut oil,and some vanilla, that’s it. Simple and good!
Yes, I’m totally drooling, and I like the Bella Cullen name the best.
Great run – you guys are going to be so ready for your marathon. Very exciting.
Not a fan of the Vega products. Your raspberry cilantro smoothies sound much more my style.
First of all, the cupcakes… (which you could name Cullen Cupcake.. just a thought) they look SO GOOD! WOW! How do you two do that???? Every time I try making a raw dessert… well they taste great but look horrible! haha!
I have not tried the Vega shakes, tried the bars and not a fan. Brendan’s THRIVE book is fantastic though. Great ideas to make your own Gu packets and such.
Anyway, have a great day… wish I could be there on Saturday to buy some raw goodies! Some day…
I want to run with you two!!
aww thanks Katie… we would love to run with you too. More the merrier!
HEy Yall!!!!!! So I am training for a marathon right now too, I am doing the dallas whiterock one its december 13. SO yall have done one marathon so far, is it full of half?? SO I found the blog through jennas journey!!!! WOw I always thought id you were glueten free raw and vegan you would only be able to eat like carrots but man oh man that cupcake looks AMAZING!!!!!! So what training are you following for the marathon???
I am so happy that you came across our blog!!! Welcome! Yeah we have done 2 half marathons before and one full one. We are training for our second full one! We kinda follow the Jeff Galloway method… though we typically go with what our bodies like.
Good luck with yours! Yep, eating gluten free and raw vegan the meal choices are endless. You can pretty much make almost any ‘cooked’ meal – raw and there are tons of gluten free options nowadays! Let me know if you have any more questions!
I love the name Mrs. Dracula!!! Sounds more creepy than mrs. Bella Cullen, even though the movie IS coming out soon.
Have a great Halloween!
