Hello friends,
We made it!!! We are in Orlando, FL with our big sis
Here is a quick re-cap of our day yesterday in the car. When we got back from the farmers market (which we sold out
we quickly unloaded the car, cleaned, and than packed up my car!
Than it was time to hit the road. Glad that everyone enjoyed our gluten free pumpkin pie recipe It is the recipe we have used for the past few years now!
Here are some of the goodies that we took with us…just a few things ; )

We snacked on some of these little goodies during our road trip done to Valdosta,GA to get us through the long 9 hour trip
Our breakfast before the market was a lovely banana collard green smoothie. Then before we left for our road trip, we each enjoyed our homemade yogurt with some maca, spirulina, and yacon syrup (sorry no picture we were in a hurry)
Our first snack in the car was a slice of one of our onion breads with a cashew ‘hummus’ spread. YUM

Little bit later we enjoyed our cocktail – Kombucha tea

Later we enjoyed one two three four coconut macaroons!

We also ended up grabbing a few more slices of our onion bread (turned out to be our dinner). We didn’t want to stop so we just ate these snacks throughout the drive!
Than we FINALLY made it to Gina’s!!
Pulled up to her place a little bit before 11pm (thanks Tom for helping us with directions)
It was so great to see Gina again… I missed my roommate
from school. We enjoyed some wine and talked till 2am! I guess we had a lot of catching up to do!
Sorry for no pictures of the night.
Lori and I woke up around 8:30 and got ready to get back in a car for the second part of our journey down to Orlando, FL. Sorry Gina and Tom for leaving so early and not being able to hang out more… we will have to plan another visit and stay longer
Thanks again for your hospitality and wine
You two are the best!!! We hope you enjoy your goodies.
We sipped on some water for the majority of the morning than finally when the sun came out (first two hours of the drive was a down pour) we had one slice of another onion bread and some of our chocolate carob fudge coconut bites (sorry for no recipe – we just threw some ingredients into a food processor)

These little fudge bites were addicting… though helped pass the time

When we finally made it to Orlando, we stopped by heaven Whole Foods Market to get some goodies for lunch and smoothies for the next couple of days.

Enjoyed this in the car ride back to sis’s house!
Hit the spot!
Finally it was time to EAT!!! Since we have been craving raw sauerkraut we found some at WHF and wanted to give it a try. We were so excited to eat this : )

Lunch is served

YUM
We both really liked this raw sauerkraut it was flavored with some ginger! We love ginger. We got two more of this brand’s sauerkraut to try over the next few days!!! I am excited. The company, Glaser Organic Farms, is out of Miami, FL so for those of you that live in Florida lucky you!! They offer other goodies but we just wanted the sauerkraut.
Also we got more cocktails to enjoy

And ended our lunch with some

Vanilla hemp macaroons – and new flavor YUM!
Ok now relaxing with the older sis and probably heading to Disney parks tonight to see all the Christmas lights!!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend
Till next time,
