Happy Sunday everyone!
Sorry for not touching base with you all yesterday the day seemed to fly by and we were busy from early morning to late evening. But we wanted to quickly re-cap how our last two days have been.
But first we wanted to thanks again for everyone’s great comments on our love hate relationship post! We really appreciate them
xoxo
Here are some of the eats that we have been enjoying
Green smoothies
Avocado Carob Stevia sweetened pudding
We also enjoyed a really satisfying and mouthwatering wilted kale salad with avocado, lemon, sea salt, turmeric, and topped with spriulina. You just mix everything around in a large bowl with your hands (so you did get a little messy) and than it wilts down into a lovely simple salad.
Really simple to make and absolutely fantastic!!! I highly recommend
Got up yesterday morning early to enjoy homemade coconut base yogurt for breakfast which we added some Stevia and Cinnamon!
Delicious! It the spot for us before we headed out to the farmers market to stand in 25 degree weather for 4 hours! That I must say is not fun
When we got back from the market which we did really well. Our customers were happy to see us! We brought some new items to the market this week like raw biscotti and cupcake you can check them and more out at Twin Cakes Bakery.
Remember when we made our dairy free and nut free milk well we had leftover pulp and finally decided what to do with it. We had a few different ideas but this is what we did last night for dinner.
We made more yogurt. Though this time is was based out of the sunflower sesame seed pulp. We justed added some little coconut butter and a probiotic powder and blended till creamy. Let ferment overnight!
And the result was unique
Not sure how to describe it. As you can tell from our yogurt earlier made with coconut meat is much more creamier than this one
We sweetened the yogurt with stevia
It was a mix between yogurt, cottage cheese, and a pate. We feel you could make it sweet like we did or make it savory!
Though the texture was different, it really hit the spot for us. Most likely will make again in the future. It was nice knowing that we can make our homemade yogurt with out opening all those coconuts! Though we love them too!!!
Our workout on Friday was 60 minutes of yoga from yogadownload (core and hip opening). Perfect for our busy day on Friday. We took Saturday off from working out. We felt our bodies just needed a day to rest.
So overall how are we doing on our Candida cleanse?
Both of us are hanging in there. We both have not seen any major improvement in our skin, energy levels, and stomach issues. Lately, we have to keep reminding ourselves that it is a slow healing process!
We have an extremely busy week ahead of us (though I know many of you are busy with work and school). We both wish that everyone has a great week!
Remember just a few days left on our first giveaway!!
Till next time,

You guys are doing fabulously with your cleanse/healthy journey – as Gena always tells me, “progress not perfection”
Yes Liz we keep reminding ourselves of this ; )
“We both have not seen any major improvement in our skin, energy levels, and stomach issues. Lately, we have to keep reminding ourselves that it is a slow healing process!”
Isnt’ that the truth! I spent the first 25 yrs of my life suffering. Spent the next 4-5 in DETECTIVE work mode. And have spent the last 4 or so doing what I’d say is a 9/10 most days. But yes, it’s slow, it’s a long confusing road, and each person has to do the research, trial & error and leg work for HER body. I know you two will get there
Thank you Averie for commenting while you are on vacation. Love ya girl!
Yes we are looking forward to finding what works for us and finally starting healing. Thank you for your support.
We skipped the market this week.. wasnt feeling the weather.. hope you warmed up and dont have pneumonia!!!

You were smart Abby for staying at home. It was a cold one at the market. I am glad you are enjoying our journey.

Your new yogurt sounds… interesting! I never would have thought of using pulp to make a pudding. Very creative. And I have a post suggestion.
