Sweet and savory tart
Happy Wednesday Friends
Love all the less meat protein sources support from you all! Lori and I are still trying to find our balance with everything though each week we feel we are understanding our bodies better
Lately we have been enjoying some delicious eats. We attempted to re-create the Little Debbie oatmeal creme pies (one of our childhood favorites) and this is what we came up with: our raw ‘oatmeal’ kreme cookies
Needs just a little bit more tweaking and I think we have it
We have been enjoying some fresh vegetable juices in the morning
Great way to start the day! So far our tummies have been enjoying our fresh juices again. By having such a light breakfast has been nice both with our ‘eliminations’ and giving us energy for the day!
Been enjoying lots of our homemade sauerkrauts
Made a bunch of it this past weekend
This one we top with ground hemp seeds (which is another new thing we are trying – grinding all our seeds into flour form before eating, this helps with inflamed and sensitive stomachs by having things in flour form not whole seeds)
Our green smoothies have turned into our post-workout shakes
YUM
Made a glorious savory mini tart as part of dinner last night along with one of pure2raw onion flatbreads topped with more sauerkraut!!!
Absolutely mouth-watering. We wanted to try putting some sweet (the tart crust) with something savory like sauerkraut mixed with tahini as the filling. Love the sweet and savory flavors together. Do plan on making more meals like this
Second part of dinner
Than dessert was this
Just kidding, both of these raw desserts (oreo tart and banana kreme filled cupcake) are for our farmers market this weekend. I just love my job!
Later this week we will give a hormonal balance update! I know many of you have been asking us so we will discuss it again soon.
Pure2Raw news: check out our 15% discount on our Swiss Chard Black Sesame Flatbread. One of my favorites
Time to go do some yoga.
Till next time,
Michelle

I can’t wait to order some goodies from you once I recover from the surgery, it’s the “special treat” that I’m looking forward to most!

You guys have almost convinced me that I should try making sauerkraut. I’m just terrified that I will do it wrong and poison myself! It looks delicious on that flat bread, though!

Just started my first attempt at making sauerkraut (standard cabbage) in my dorm room! Tried it once at home, and it wasn’t so perfect. We’ll see what happens this time!

Megan kraut is so easy to make, just takes a little patience and practice, but I understand about being scared. I was too at first, but then I just made it and now make it all the time.

Yay for kraut Ian. Glad to hear you are giving it another go. Let us know if you have any questions!!

Wow, your ‘oatmeal’ kreme cookies look absolutely incredible, and so does everything else on this post! I am hoping to try making sauerkraut someday, and what a great idea to put some in those adorable tarts:)

Your creations look even more amazing now that I know what your goodies taste like. My gosh, I’m so envious. Can I just move to NY and we can become triplets?
I’ve been juicing for breakfast too, and honestly I’m having a hard time remembering why I ever stopped. I can’t even describe how wonderful it makes me feel!
Happy Wednesday, ladies!

Morning ladies.
I really wish I could stop by and see you at the farmer’s market your raw desserts look amazing. I am a huge fan of saurkraut after discovering it just last year. I am trying to get back on green smoothies for breakfast but I just haven’t been in the mood lately. I think I just need to spice them up so that they feel more exciting.
Have a wonderful day!

I loved the oatmeal pies when I was little. I can’t wait to try them if you post of a recipe or sell them. And I would love to come and eat lunch and dinner with you…they look delicious (and sometimes I’d be too lazy to make it, haha).

Oh gosh, delicious! Now that I’ve tried the yogurt, I’m dying to try the kraut.

You will love it!

oh. my. goodness. those oatmeal creme pies look AMAZING! Cookie monster it is! I just make some carrot cake cookies today, topped with a maple cashew cream, but my husband ate the entire batch before I got a picture! I’ve got batch #2 in the dehydrator, but am thinking I’ll toy around tomorrow with the oats and walnuts I’m off to soak right now, thanks to you inspirational ladies!
