by Lori and Michelle on March 30, 2010

Hello friends,

Can you believe Easter is already here?!?! We are not complaining though it is nice that hopefully Spring is finally here and here to stay!

We wanted to share with you all a great product that we were lucky to review. It is an organic baby blanket from All Children’s Furniture store. Thanks to the people at the CSN store for giving us the product to review!

We feel this blanket is a great gift  for anyone you may know like your sister, friend, aunt or whoever that is expecting a little one soon or already has one! We love the quality of the blanket and can’t wait to share it with our older sister who is expecting her little baby soon :) Yes we are going to be Aunts soon!

Onto something that really has touched Lori and I.

Yesterday was not the greatest day for us until we saw this! Thanks to the lovely Ryan and Lindsey who put together an amazing dinner event for a great group of bloggers and they did one of our raw desserts. Our raw smores!

How awesome is that!! We are deeply humbled and completely honored that they choose one of our desserts for the evening. Thanks again ladies you two are the best and did an amazing job!!!! A round of applause to you both! You two really made our day!!!!! THANK YOU!

And to top that off this lovely lady has been making a few things of ours as well.

Our kale chips!

And

Our carrot cakes! Andrea everything looks amazing and we are so honored and happy to hear that you have been liking everything!!!!!! YAY!

And than to top this all off we got an amazing email from a reader with pictures of more carrot cake that she made for her family! Love this.

Thanks Marie, it looks great!

And also our dear friend Lori had her take on our carrot cakes!

Absolutely love it!!!! Love the avocado on top!!! Pure bliss!!!

Lori and I just wanted to say thanks to you all who have made one or more of our recipes. This means the world to us both and we just wanted to say THANKS!!! We love seeing and hearing our devoted readers share their stories and recipes with us! Keep them coming!!!

We are so happy that we have inspired so many of you to try something new and give raw foods a try!!!

We plan on sharing more recipes here soon and our cookbook is coming along. We are working hard to get out there as soon as possible.

Till next time, we have some great announcements for tomorrow!

Michelle

Congrats on being soon-to-be aunts! Babies are so fun. :D

I’m going to have to try your kale chips soon! I never remember to buy extra kale for that, so I’m putting it on my list for tomorrow! Glad you ladies are having a better day!

You’ve definitely inspired me to try more raw eats! I’ll be honest, though, I have no idea where to begin! It’s kind of intimidating. What do you suggest as an easy(ish) raw recipe to try for the first time?

Congratulations! How wonderful that you’re going to be aunts! Your carrot cakes look just divine; I hope that I’ll have enough time to perhaps make some for Easter! If I do, I’ll be sure to share!

O.k. – those smores are killing me! I have actually been fantasizing about marshmallows this week for some reason (must be missing those Easter Peeps!), so I am going to try to make these this weekend for sure! Thank you for the recipe!

Raw S’mores??? If that isn’t reason enough to go buy a dehydrator I don’t know what is! To be honest I’ve always been so intimidated by them and wondered if I’d ever use it, but the recipes on your blog that I want to try that involve a dehydrator are stackin’ up!
