Hello friends,
Oh how happy it makes us to see everyone enjoying the carrot cake recipe
This dessert has become a staple in our lives especially since we have some type of carrot juice a day mixed with other veggies of course
We just always save the carrots to juice last so we can get all carrot pulp last that way we can use if for this recipe!
For the past few days we have changed our workouts to do them first thing in the morning and have been enjoying it! Lately, our schedule has become so busy so in order to have time to workout we have had to move our workouts to early morning
Sometimes it is hard to get moving in the morning but after our lemon water and pre-workout snack we are ready to go
After yesterdays workout we made a grapefruit collard green smoothie
One of my favorites! We also mix in some msm powder, turmeric, lots of ginger, camu camu and sunflower lecithin!
Snacked on a few donut holes (new creation) and a few collard green crackers. Before making some steamed broccoli covered with a new sauce we created
I just had to jazz up plain old broccoli!
A creamy lime garlic sauce
Perfect pairing for broccoli.
Michelle and I shared a whole head of broccoli. And let me tell you it was extremely filling
Kept us full for majority of the afternoon.
We sipped on some homemade kombucha (we flavored ours ginger)!
A random snack was a little bit of coconut kefir and one carob macaroon
And finally dinner was a baby romaine salad with fermented veggies and more creamy lime garlic sauce
Glorious salad that hit the spot for us both! We are both always craving our fermented veggies and kraut!
Pure2Raw Product Review:
We had the opportunity to use Raw Gaia Face Mask (they sent us some samples to try) over these past few weeks. You know we already loved their chocolate face mask so we were really excited to try this one.
Their Sun-dried Rhassoul Clay:

Love this face mask as well! I have been using it about once a week sometimes twice a week. And sometimes as spot treatment on my pimples overnight mixed with some apple cider vinegar. And love it. I feel it works well for my face without being so harsh like some other face mask out there. I love the way it feels on my face and how it makes my face feel afterwards.
Now we all know that clay mask are great for the skin though they can be very powerful in that they can pull out a lot of toxins. That is why I only use about once a week and as spot treatment a few nights a week.
At first I did find it too harsh but once I used it a second time my face seemed to like it
I really like Raw Gaia’s products. I have also been using their MSM cream and loving it! As many of you know I am struggling with hormonal breakouts and these products have really seemed to be helping. I still get my flare ups from time to time but over all I feel these products are helping my skin heal. Just not has fast as I would like
This Sun-dried Rhassoul Clay mask is very powerful and nourishing for the face. Rhassoul clay has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-microbial and antiseptic qualities which I love! I plan to continue using this clay about twice a week on my face. For more great information about this amazing face mask check out their site! It is worth every penny in my opinion.
Since I have sensitive and acne prone skin this mask has worked great for my skin. I am excited to see what it does for my face as I continue to use it
And check out Shannon Marie’s great giveaway! Go check it out now!!!!
Till next time,
Lori

Broccoli looks d-lish!
Thanks for the review of the Raw Gaia face mask. I love that sort of thing so I’m interested now. Thanks!
The broccoli sauce looks delish! I could definitely eat an entire head in one sitting. I’ve actually given myself tummyaches from eating too much of it, it’s one of my favorite veggies!
I love broccoli and have been experimenting a lot with creamy recipes lately, yours looks great.
Interesting mask, maybe something I’ll try, thanks.
You girls are so adventurous, I would NEVER think to mix grapefruit and collard greens in a smoothie…. love your gutsiness!
i love the face mask review..i am always on the hunt.
so i know it’s probably not organic enough for you girls but it’s cheap and not awful and my face is not breaking out from it: aveeno’s bar soap. for the face. It’s called aveeno moisturizing or there’s a clarifying. It’s 2.79 for a bar at target and a reader told me about it and for the 1st time in 10 yrs, I am off Lancome and not having breakouts. And it’s oatmeal based and doesnt seem to have too much junk in it. Just lettin you know
Wow, the broccoli looks yummy! What’s the recipe for the creamy garlic lime sauce?
I love probably, especially since I’ve been able to eat it again. Hayden’s digestive system has matured, allowing me to add some of the “culprits” back to my diet.
Thanks for the shout out and for “catering” our Oscar night
