Hello luvs,
Almost the weekend I know many of you are excited about that! Though we never really get ‘weekends’ anymore. Well things have been extremely busy around here which is always a good thing right
We are so happy that everyone is considering making their own fermented drinks! Promise once you make them a few times you will get the hang of it!
We definitely have been eating well over these past few days.
Going along with our Tracy Anderson workouts and Yoga, we have been running once a week. A short simple 20-25 minute run/walks. It has been great to get outside when it is nice out to stretch the legs though mainly we have been doing Tracy’s workouts!
Also we have been playing around with different pre and post workout snacks/puddings
Like this one
A pre-workout chia mesquite date ball
Both have been great still a minor tweaking to them but overall gave us the energy we need for a great workout with not being too heavy.
Some post-workout puddings we have whipped up are
Chorella hemp seed yacon lemon pudding
Another one
Spirulina lemon yacon pumpkin seed sludge
Both of these have been great and few ingredients! Love having either pumpkin seeds or hemp seeds after our workouts because give us the vitamins and minerals to help our body recovery from our workouts along with adding lemon to help alkalize the body! Our puddings are not as pretty as our good friend Shannon Marie’s pudding in a jar
Some other great eats we have been devouring are
Raspberry coconut kefir smoothie
Snack – lightly steamed fennel and leeks
Dinner
Fermented veggies and sauerkraut arugula salad~
Another glorious dinner from a few nights ago
Sauerkraut with more steamed leeks and fennel with some steamed sweet potato. Nice and warm and comforting!
Tuesday we enjoyed our grapefruit spinach smoothie
Yesterday morning we started our day with a 14 oz fresh juice!
Since we snacked on some of these the night before (we were practicing new recipes for our Twin Cakes bakery) We were not really hungry for a large green smoothie so juice hit the spot!
Gluten free vegan banana sticky buns – recipe came out great! Love that when that happens because gluten free ingredients are not cheap
Don’t worry we have lots more great eats coming
Last night we made a delicious avocado coconut kefir pudding – we will share the recipe tomorrow! Believe me it is heavenly!
News:
Remember out blog t-shirts are only on sale till March 19th!!! Keep those orders coming
And for those of you who were asking these are girl size shirts. Sorry guys, we will get a men’s shirt soon!
Happy Thursday to you all! xoxo
Till next time,
The Twins

Being busy is a great thing…ESPECIALLY when it’s your own business! Great to hear! So happy that you two are doing well and promoting a truly healthy and rewarding way of life! (and still finding time to blog for us readers!)
And just to let you know, I would love to work out with you two girls, just to eat your workout treats! They always look so good! Mine, not so much- and sometimes they don’t really taste that great! ha. Yours are picture perfect.
And that kraut- oh the colors!
Have a wonderful (almost weekend) day!!!
Thanks Lori!! We always try to blog once a day…we love to share with others, but time is becoming a factor.
We would love to workout with you too!! Your workouts always so intense, love it!! We have been trying to master our workout meals, we think we have finally found ones we like ; )
Have a great day!
Does the Tracy Anderson workout work??? I’ve been thinking about buying the dvd but I’m wondering how you girls like it? Thanks:)
Gina, we have been doing the Tracy mat dvd for 2 weeks, about 4-5 times a week. We love it. We have seem some results, nothing major, but know it is going to take time, but also we have not been doing much cardio. Just have not had the time, so we know that could be a factor too with our results. But we think it is a great workout for an at home workout. We do not have gym memberships, so this gets our bodies moving.
Can we purchase your St. Patty’s day treats online or via email? Can you ship those things…?????
Oh yum, date balls are awesome!!! I am making some macaroons this weekend, hopefully they will come out as yummy as the ones you sent me!
I will have to check out that DVD, I am always switching mine up,looking for a challenge! HUGS!
Oh the banana sticky buns look so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh put some coconut butter on those babies and be in pure bliss!!!!!

Beautiful and nourishing eats, girls!!!
Thanks Gena! xoxo
mm ur puddings look aweesome!
i need a veggie spiralizer! whats the best brand?
What awesome sounding puddings!! I’ve just discovered the magic of chia pudding, but you girls are on a whole different level! Have a great Friday
Thanks Gabriela, you are so sweet! Chia puddings are a lot of fun to make and there is so much you can do with them – flavor wise!
Smashing idea to have those little date snacks before working out. It sucks to get hungry during yoga or during a run!!! Thanks for the info about restoring post workout too. I take a highly diluted arnica tincture from Herb Pharm. But I will try pumpkin seeds too.
wow.. you ladies are amazing. so i’m curious.. i don’t eat raw yet.. can you help me out with what your typical grocery list looks like and do you spend alot on groceries? i have to keep it really tight especially now. any suggestions?
