Hello friends,
It is almost time for Fitbloggin
Why do we always wait to the last minute to get things done?!?!?! So much to and such little time!
But besides running around like mad women we have been eating some things! So glad to see that everyone loved hearing about Averie’s story! Thanks again Averie your the best!
A rich creamy and thick green smoothie (on Monday Michelle and I knew this week was going to be crazy so we went ahead and made all our smoothies so they were ready for later this week) We are so smart
Therefore by letting our smoothies sit in the fridge helped make them thick (from the sunflower lecithin) and delicious.
I think this green smoothie was apples and kale. Perfect way to start our day after our Tracy Anderson Workouts!
Another shake was for lunch
Coconut kefir shake with raspberries, cilantro and lime!
Dinner a few nights ago was steamed brussel sprouts with some sauerkraut (sorry for the not so pretty pictures we used Michelle’s phone to take this)
We poured our sauce that we made for our squash kraut stack a few days ago on top
Heavenly!
A few days ago we enjoyed a simple snack of roasted fennel and fermented veggies on top.
Another snack from yesterday was steamed broccoli with rosemary and cumin on top. We love cumin and we know the lovely Lauren does too!
Dinner was some fresh lettuce from a local farmer with fresh cilantro and more sauerkraut.
And for dessert these past few nights we created another version of our carrot cake with a tropical twist on it
We added avocado and lime to the batter and frosting! Also our frosting was homemade coconut butter that Heather created
She is so smart.
Seriously the best carrot cake yet
We have created so many different version of this little dessert though since we both are madly in love with avocados and lime this hit the spot!!!!!
And than last night we put another twist on this tropical carrot cake bar…. yacon syrup drizzled over it!
Yacon syrup is our favorite sweetener after stevia of course
And last night in honor of St. Patty’s Day we enjoyed a large GREEN spinach parsley salad with more sauerkraut on top!
We threw some onions, dulse flakes and turmeric in there!
Phew that was a lot of food to cover. Now time to go and deliver some gluten free cupcakes to some clients then back here to pack and finish things for FitBloggin
Till next time,
Lori

Have a blast at fitbloggin ladies! What Tracy Anderson video do you like? I’ve been considering giving one a try after doing the one she posted on GOP.
xo
Lisa
Lisa we have Tracy’s Mat DVD. We love it, have been doing it for 3 weeks. We plan to look into her other DVDs, just have not got around to it yet.
Mmmmm carrot cake. I really gotta get on this recipe already!
What a good idea, making your smoothies ahead of time.
So wish I could be at Fitbloggin. So many cool gals are going to be there! Next year, perhaps?
I so love the way you two eat, and lime and avocado in the carrot cake? Um, YUM! So glad the coconut butter worked out for ya. Others have had a few mishaps.
Have so much fun this weekend, and please tell everyone I said “hello”!
Heather, wish you were coming to Fitbloggin too!! We would love to hang out with ya girl ; ) And we will tell people hello for you!
Oh my gosh….Everything looks phenomenal, as usual, but really…those carrot cake bars are calling my name! They are GORGEOUS!
Thank you Natasha!!
Must say, you two ladies eat very well. Isn’t life great! I feel so bad for those eating a very SAD diet. They’re missing out on life! I made your carrot cake (well a version of it) and it was amazing! The frosting I made needed work but hey, it’s a start. I’m blogging about it today! Funny!
Oh Lori I am sure you cake tasted delicious ; )
I think I”m going to start a tally of foods that you ladies have introduced me to that I am in love with! Maca, coconut oil, kefir… and we’re still going….
Can’t wait to meet you tomorrow night at FitBloggin!
Carrot cake bars?? OH YUM!
That’s my fav. cake!!!
