Hello friends,
Sorry for being MIA yesterday. We were slammed with orders for Mothers Day plus had our two farmers markets, so we had no time in front of the computer. This brings me to our topic of discussion for today. One thing we have learned from others who share tips on blogging, etc. is readers like consistency. Well we are just throwing this out there that we are not consistent people (not that we like too, it just happens), it is mainly due to our bakery’s schedule. We enjoy doing both things here on our blog and making things for our bakery, and sometimes we have to make tough choices.
We love sharing things here on our blog, and we will continue, just our post may be a little random at times (like us and our eats!). We try our best to have a routine, but things always pop up unexpectedly, and we wanted to explain that we do feel bad every time we do not get do a post. ; ( We care deeply about our readers and felt you deserved to know how we roll over here, ; )
Anyways we hope you all still stick around for our all randomness! LOL!
Moving onto to our eats -
Our typically sauerkraut and avocado kale salad!
Fermented amaranth with local Red Russian Kale chopped up…remember our fermented quinoa! We did the same thing just this time with amaranth. Our bodies really like our grains (seeds) fermented!!
Some type of pudding, honestly do not remember, maybe coconut carob??? Sure looks tasting, sure wish I wrote it done to make it again. : (
This is an avocado pudding topped with cacao nibs and yacon syrup.
A raspberry coconut kefir smoothie! A wonderful tart flavor!!!
Another great salad with local greens and pure2raw herb crackers.
Coconut kefir spirulina pudding! Delicious!
Again Lori and I have a lot to talk about in terms of our blog. We have lots of plans for it and we would love any feedback. What would you like to see from us? We want our blog to be a place of inspiration, information, and just plain FUN!! And we will work on trying to be less random, key word is try! ; )
Have a great evening!
Till next time,
Michelle

I feel ya on consistency. I like to be consistent with my blogging, but I can’t always. Life is hectic!
We’re still here reading and loving y’all though, despite hectic-ness and inconsistency in all of our schedules!
Thanks Lindsey!! I know you have changed up your post styling, thanks for being so supportive of us ; )
I just love everything you post and please don’t worry if you don’t post everyday. We are aware that you have lives and they can get really busy.
I can’t wait to make coconut kefir, and with spirulina sounds so nummy
Oh yes Tamikko you will love spirulina with coconut kefir.
Don’t feel bad silly girls!!! We love you and miss you, but a blog shouldn’t be stressful! Congrats on all the orders, glad business is booming for my 2 favorite bakers! XO
Hey girls! I feel ya on it being tough to stay consistent, esp when we are super busy… but I think some blogging is much better than no blogging at all and you know I’ll still be around reading about all your fabulous, adventurous recipes
Hope you girls are having a great weekend!
Whenever you post is fine- I read for content, not for schedule
And I love when you post recipes for baked goods!
Whatever that pudding is, I want some.
I think we all put more pressure on ourselves to blog consistently than we need to and have higher expectations than we have for others. It is human nature. Ladies, I will still be reading, and your randomness is genuine, so don’t worry.
I made my third batch of sauerkraut today using your method; thanks again!
Katie so glad to hear you are enjoying homemade kraut!!
Hey, I love and appreciate your randomness! You know why? Well, because I am too! I post when I can and I read when I can. I’ll always be a fan so no worries girls! Love what you do. Muah!
That is why we love you too Heidi!! xoxo
Do not feel bad if you cannot post. We know you are off doing great things!
Hello to my favourite twins!!! Honestly, I’m not very consistent with blogging due to my schedule but then again, I don’t have many readers so that’s prob why!
Ooo, what are you thinking of doing with your blog? I’m giving mine a revamp in the summer too coz at the mo mine’s quite random. I love recipes but I think as long as there’s a little bit of who you are in the blog it’s great. Hope you’re having a good weekend. x
Thanks for understanding Sarah! We plan to update our pages…make it look more organized or something. We have some ideas, just have not finalized them.
i absolutely love sauerkraut and kale in the same bowl!!!
=)
