to our favorite show

We are going to miss these guy! What are we to do on our Tuesday nights now?

We know it might sound pathetic that we are really sad to see this show go off the air but we have really come to “LOVE” this show and all the characters. We are not sure what it is about LOST that draw us in so much? We just love it and can’t get enough
We have not missed an episode since it started!!!!
It is funny how shows can really become apart of your lives? It is like we live through the characters. Or use it as a way to escape from your real life.
We remember when two other of our favorite shows went off the air like

Friends was yet another show that we were saddened to see go off the air.

Seinfeld was a classic!
YAY for reruns though!
We are not sure what to do with our time now
Maybe we will find another show that captures our hearts but maybe not.
What show have you fallen in love with and hate to see it go?
What is it about tv shows that you love so much? Is it the stories? The characters? The plot? The actors?
We must say LOST has it all for us. It has the drama, the action, the romance! And good looking people to look at each week
Now for all you LOST fans what are your predictions on what is going to happen? For the love triangle between Jack, Kate, and Sawyer who do like together? Jack and Kate or Sawyer and Kate?
We are Jack and Kate fans, though we love Sawyer too.
How do you feel about tv shows taking over your nights or life? Do you feel that it is a good thing or do you feel our society is too caught up in tv?
We feel it is good to have shows to help keep people entertained but also feel it is good for people not to get wrapped around shows that they never experience their own life. There has to be some type of balance right
Though we admit we do not like doing anything else during the one or two hour show. Our whole focus and energy is on what is happening on the screen. Maybe that is a bad thing but it is our one hour of freedom. It is when we can forget about everything else that is going on in our lives. A time for us to have fun dreaming of something else.
OK, seriously the final countdown is ON!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes we might actually shed a tear or two over here
We hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!
Till next time,
Pure2Raw Twins

I hope the last show leaves you satisfied. I was the most upset when Gilmore Girls and Felicity ended. I have never seen LOST but now that it is ending I could rent all the DVDs and watch the entire series. It is so much easier to record shows now or watch them online so I don’t find they take over my nights but I think TV can be quite relaxing and it something to look forward to after a long and busy day. I hope you have fun tonight. xo
We were big Felicity fans too Lisa!! How could we forget about that show. Hope you enjoy your Lost DVDS!
Oh gosh … I can’t believe today is finally “the day.” I’m definitely going to cry – I’m a crier haha. Sadly, they’ve already killed off my favorite character (Sayid) but I can’t wait to see what happens. I have a theory that while (fake)Locke and Jack are fighting it out, Sawyer’s gonna go behind everyone’s backs and do something crazy – but I don’t know what. He always has done that!
I really think LOST is an incredible TV show. I’m about to graduate with my degree in English and I have a huge thing for sci-fi, and I really think it’s a little bit of the best of both worlds. It is a very carefully written, literary piece of television history and I’m so fond of it. I don’t watch a lot of TV (I don’t even have a TV) but I make an exception for this show.
I sobbed through the entire finale of FRIENDS too! I was in 6th grade when seinfeld ended but I remember being upset over that too.
I think that television as a public source of media has SO much potential but also has so much ability to make us, well, stupid. We watch the news, we absorb reality tv, we think we’re connected and informed, but it’s really hard to get the truth from television alone. But there’s nothing wrong with giving a few hours a week to the television!
Could not have said it better myself Ilana!!! Hope you enjoy LOST!!!
I may join you in shedding a tear! I am not a TV person at all… I only really watch the news, or documentaries, but for some reason I fell in love with LOST. It’s the only TV show I’ve seen all the episodes.
Sawyer is my fave
I’ll think of you ladies tonight while watching the end of an era!
So funny. I just finished wishing everyone a Happy Lost Day on Facebook and Twitter
I am so going to miss it, just like Friends. It’s become something I think about almost every day, and has become part of my life.
I don’t own any of the DVD’s yet. So I’m very much looking forward to watching all the episodes from the beginning again
I know Tamikko we enjoyed watching the first episode last night, makes us want to watch it all over from the beginning ; ) Happy Lost day!
I completely agree with you that TV takes over most American’s lives! We definitely watched a lot more TV before we moved to Germany. We actually get a lot more stuff done now. It is amazing!
We do drop everything for Dexter. Amazing show.
I agree Nicole. We do not watch much TV but whenever we do watch more than we normally do, we are amazed about how little we got done, haha.
I have never missed an episode of Lost either. It is the only show that I do watch. Well, okay, and American Idol….I think Lost is so intriguing because you actually have no idea what may happen from minute to minute much less show to show. I also like it because the setting is not every day life. There are so many shows that dwell on the violence and negativity of the world around us and that for me is not an escape. It’s just a mere reminder of how much chaos there is in the world around us. I love Lost for that reason, it is truely an escape. I have no idea what may happen, but I can’t wait to find out. Keep June 30th open ladies, too, unless of course your not a fan of the Twilight series….Enjoy you’re evening and keep the kleenex handy!
Hey Joi!! Thanks for the comment, and yes we are Twilight fans too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are counting down till June 30th!!! : ) xoxo
aww that is SO sad!! im not a lost girl tho
I hate when things end tho..i feel your pain! haha
i do not watch shows live. i like the flexibility of watching when i want to. so it can’t take over my life that way.
seinfeld was a fave of mine. we recently watched all the shows over again.
i am getting pretty into glee these days. it’s a good one.
I’m so excited for the finale tonight! I think they’ll leave us pretty satisfied, with just a little bit open to interpretation.
My husband and I definitely let the TV dictate a little too much of our nights sometimes, but we justify it since he works in the entertainment industry, and it makes good “water cooler” talk the next day! However, most shows aren’t too important if we miss an episode… really, LOST is one of the shows we cared most about!
… and I still watch Friends re-runs all the time! I don’t think it will ever get old!
I used to LOVE The OC…it was such a short lived show, but so good!! And Gilmore Girls was another favorite that I really felt like I grew up with! Hope you enjoy the finale
I am so sad LOST is over too!!! What a great season finale it was, I am so upset and willmiss the show and the characters so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to find a new show to watch too now!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the sweet anny wishes on my blog! xoxo
Haha. I am not a LOST fan, but I do very very attached to my fave TV shows, so I feel your pain!!! Sorry the end is nigh.
It has been sixteen days since “The End” and I was searching for others that might be having Lost withdrawal. I know it is over but when it has been such a big part of your life for six years…it is so hard to let go!!
