Since today is our blog’s – One Year Anniversary – we wanted to re-do our blog design but due to some business changes we had to re-think everything (so our re-design is put on hold). But we did finally made a facebook page for Pure2Raw (so please become a friend and keep up-to-date with what is happening with us)!
It is fun for us to look back at some of our first posts…to see our blog’s journey (and our personal life’s journey) from one year ago. For some great laughs check out our first two post
Michelle and I have learned so much from blogging! We are so grateful to have so many great blogging friends and readers! And we are deeply honored for your support and we hope to continue our friendship for many years to come
Moving on to some of our eats.
Yesterday’s dinner was a version of our avocado pudding though this time we added in some irish moss
My version with some yacon syrup on top
I wanted it simple since my tummy still was not feeling the best.
Love the texture irish moss provides puddings!
Michelle’s version – she added some vega protein powder (something Heather would approve)!
A little bit later, once my tummy started to feel better, I enjoyed a new raw cookie we created.
Delicious and the cookie is based out of stevia
As Michelle mentioned we did not workout this morning in order to give my body some rest. I have been feeling better today
I ended up eating simple smoothie for breakfast. A good friend and client of ours dropped off some fresh figs! So that is what we made our smoothie out of!
Love fresh figs. Gary has never had a fresh fig before (I know crazy) and he tried one and loved them
Nothing beats fresh figs!!!! What is there not to love?!?!
Just want the doctor ordered
Michelle and I both sat outside to enjoy this refreshing smoothie!
Did you sit outside today?
Dinner tonight is a lovely salad topped with some quinoa mac and cheese
Michelle showing off her hair cut

I’ve added you to my FB and here goes about the sun: In Albany, NY I spend the entire winter looking forward to our beautiful summers and the lovely SUN!
Happy bloggiversary!
Yay! I absolutely love the sun! Living in Europe (particularly Germany) has taught me to really appreciate it when it’s out.
P.S. I will be living in the states again on Monday!
I love the SUN but I don’t get enough of it in NYC!!
yay!!! Happy Blogiversary! I love the sun for how happy it makes me feel.
Congrats on the blog! I’ve really enjoyed reading it and learning new things (along with ya’ll) about hormones, body functions and DELICIOUS foods.
I do like the sun, it makes me feel happy and alive. I don’t like to just lay out in it so much…..I get restless and it gets pretty hot. I also worry alittle about skin cancer, growing up in FL.
happy anniversary to a beautiful team of nutrition and self-awareness educators
i love the sun so much that i recently moved from boone, nc to sedona, az. LOVE the sun!
Mmm, juicy figs!
I love the sun, except for when it burns me! I’m as pasty as they come.
I’m following you on FB now too.
happy happy blog birthday! I ADORE THE SUN! it fuels me-both indirectly and directly. Eating a plant-based diet we get all the nutrients thanks to good ol’ sun. And sitting in the sun, and watching the sun rise/set refreshes me everyday! <3
and of course i fanned you on fbook!
Happy blogaversary ladies!! I actually did sit outside in the sun today, and it was beautiful!
I covet your fresh figs. { Oooooooh, that sounds kinds naughty, doesn’t it? }
I LOVE the Sun because it makes my garden grow BIG and GREEN.
Happy Blogiversary, gals!
Most of my sun interactions involve a heafty lathering of sunscreen! But I definitely love watching sunrises and sunsets.
I love the sun – the vitamin D it gives and the healthy nutrients it provides my plants. Of course I still wear my shades and SPF, but I think I’d be so blue if I didn’t get my sunlight. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway, happy blog-iversary!
Mmmm figs! Delicious. Happy anniversary!
I ADORE the sun! My name means “tree” and I’ve always thought that I needed the sun to make me grow and feel strong – little did I know that I really do! I think it’s amazing that the body+the sun naturally synthesize vitamin D, which helps make you happy! It makes all kinds of sense. I love to be in the sun, all day every day. And I love it when it gets HOT!
I love the haircut Michelle! I always wanted long straight hair. Grass is always greener on the other side! Also I liked Pure2Raw on Facebook.
The sun can always turn my day around. Frustration, sadness, whatever….if I walk outside on a sunny day I literally can feel it all lifting. Congrats on your one-year anniversary!! Two great girls doing great things.
I love sunrises, sunsets and just being out in the sun!
I am following you on FB!
Also I blogged about it

I love the sun–perfect opportunity to play with my son and dogs in the kiddie pool!
oh “i love the sun” is an understatement… after a winter in Boston, being back in California is like being reunited with a LONG-LOST LOVER… i would be clinically depressed without the sun!!!
i blogged about this giveaway here: http://cinnamonbums.wordpress.com/2010/06/27/the-quest-for-froyo-the-glorious-adventures-of-meg-natalie-and-therese/
The sun rocks!!
The Sun is something that keeps us alive, so for that it has my gratitude and love. Happy Anniversary too.
I love the sun. I love to meditate outside facing the sun. It gives so much energy…so powerful!
I liked yall on facebook!
Um the sun is my favorite because it lets me ‘go walking on sunshine’ for my afternoon workoutt
Happy Blogiversary! Michelle looks so adorable, and I am glad you are feeling better. I am sure all your gorgeous food has helped
I love the sun because my Irish descent gives me pale skin, so the sun helps by giving me some much needed color!
I love the Sun and love to sit in my lawn chair with a cool drink and maybe a book. Ahhh. I miss the sun because it is too rare most of the year in Seattle. I live in the wrong city! Seriously! Trying to move actually.
I will be away but this is one giveaway I did NOT want to miss. So if I win please email or DM me! bittofraw@gmail.com
tweeted! @cherrycobbler
i love riding my bike home after a yoga class and stopping by the Uptown market in the SUN!
that SUN makes such good veggies grow and makes me feel so nice and sweaty.
love your blog, congrats on the anniversary!
Congratulations on your anniversary. I love following along in your adventures on this blog. xoxo
The sun is my favorite star!!
I love the sun because it makes everything good to eat grow and gives our bodies vitamin D. Nothing cheers me up more than being out in the beautiful sunshine. My sweet little yorkie Benny loves the sun too and wants to be outside with me all the time.
I barbequed in the sun yesterday, swam, and enjoyed time with my sister!
Yay to your one year anniversary!I’m so happy I found you two and that I have been following you for pretty much a year now! (maybe a little shy of but still!)
I’m definitely one of your fans on facebook!
I blogged about your giveaway here:

Ah, LOVE fresh figs. Michelle, cute haircut! It reminds me that I need my hair cut too, haha.
I love the sun for my Vitamin D, but not for sunburns! Sometimes having fair skin is a burden, haha…
I realllly love the sun because the way it feels on your skin. Sometimes when I’m inside my house and the air conditioning is on, it gets SUPER chilly and just running out into the sun for 5 minutes warms me back up. Not to mention the benefits of Vitamin D and the effects it has on lifting your mood! Without the sun, we wouldn’t be able to live on this planet! Yay for sun!
I’m a fan on facebook too!
I also tweeted about your giveaway/anniversary!

That Florida sun sounds wonderful!! We have had beautiful SUNNY days without a cloud in the sky here in Indiana!! Gives me extra motivation to go for a run in the beautiful sunshine!
I love the sun, but in moderation. I’m very pale and burn very easily! I follow on facebook (Melissa Dion)
The sun is so wonderful! It’s especially nice at the beach.
I’m a fan on Facebook!
