In the news

by Lori and Michelle on July 28, 2010

Michelle and I wanted to share with you all that we were interviewed for a newspaper article a few months ago and it finally got published! YAY!

We are so excited :)

Click here to see the full article.  It is so nice to have a ‘raw’ community in my area that supports each other and with the same idea of trying to educate people to incorporate more living foods into their diet :) It is such an honor to be apart of this community! We feel so blessed.

And more news on our Bakery front:

Twin Cakes Bakery will be attending the Charlotte Gluten Free Expo on August 7th. We are excited to be apart of this great event and eager to meet everyone in the Charlotte area. For more information about event please click here.

Michelle and I feel so blessed to be doing what we do and helping others out along the way :) Helping people who suffer from food allergies or individuals who just want to have healthier food options means the world to us. Showing that good food can be full of flavor, texture, and nutrition :)

Till next time,

Lori

Thanks so much for posting the article – it’s awesome that you’re involved so generously in your local community. It seemed like a fairly well-balanced piece too – it’s nice that they got a positive comment from the medical person.

Thanks so much for sharing about your hardest thing – it seems like you are doing such a great and inspiring job of it. Good luck with pursuing it further.

love
Ela

Congratulations! That’s really fantastic! I love local press giving attention to special-interest groups – and you two are definitely experts! It’s great you live in a community that you can reach out to and find connections with other people who share your interests, it must make it so much fun!

I am not sure about Twitter! I don’t really know how to do things besides look at what others have written and writing my own tweet! lol
I like it though. I always forget to write things and check it! Too much technology!

Lori, I totally agree. It took us awhile to get the hang of twitter. We were doing really well with keeping up, but lately we have been so busy it is hard too! There is always something though isn’t there LOL
