Avocados are the one thing that does not upset our stomachs ; ) so we tend to indulge in them often! I wish I could grow my own avocados that would be more of a money saver
Onto our new workout…
You all know we love working out just as much as we do eating
We tend to keep our blog to recipes, food, and any other health related issue we are dealing but we also plan on sharing more about our workouts. We hope you like it.
Okay so for these past few weeks we have been doing a new thing for our workouts. Ever since we finished Insanity, we have been doing our own high intensity workouts, with a little walking and yoga, and some Tracy’s exercises. We have been loving them, but one day I spent way to many hours surfing the internet and ended up finding something that sparked my interest.
I wanted a workout that:
- could do at home
- little to no equipment
- fun
- challenging
Answer!!!
Zuzana is awesome. We love her and her style of workouts!! And we find her videos to be very motivating that it pushes us to workout hard every time!
We have already done many of her workouts and love them all.
Here is why we like high intensity ‘home’ workouts:
- they are short and sweet
- they leave us sweating like mad
- we feel amazing after wards
- each day we feel stronger
- great for people with busy schedules
- no special equipment is needed
- and well… basically just love short intensity workouts right now.
We tried getting back into running and just was not feeling it. These workouts have really kept us loving working out which is key to success in our opinion
Also, with our busy schedule we do not have a lot of time to workout. By working out to our max for short period of time works for us!

Zuzana is doing a 2 month challenge of clean eating and hard intense workouts before she heads to Spain and we are doing the challenge with her. We might be going to Vegas in October so we decided this is great timing and why not give it a try? We are always up for something different

I just checked out that website, and I think Ive seen it before. I am also thinking about the shorter, high intensity workouts. Insanity is great, but an hour of that high of intensity is WAY too long to do everyday!
Katie, we agree. Insanity is good but not sure about long term. We will probably still do some dvds every now and than!
I think the video is cute! And thanks for sharing about your workout. I have actually heard of Body Rock TV but never tried it myself…I do like high intensity intervals though so maybe I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for the recommendation!

I really wish I loved exercising as much as you two! I recently went for my first run in 3+ months and it felt good – I do have to get back into it – but I can’t stick with home based stuff. Maybe I will find some motivation here!!
Also, I love avocados, but sometimes I get a bit of indigestion after eating them so I need to be careful. They are so versatile though, I love them made into chocolate pudding

I’ve been there with running, too– after my half marathon, I didn’t think I’d EVER want to run again! Seriously. I’m just now starting to enjoy it again… but if I don’t feel like it, I certainly don’t force it! I think the great thing about exercise is that there are SO MANY great options!
P.S. I got my package from you guys today, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the lemon poppyseed kremes! They are everything I’d hoped they’d be and more! If you ever need a taste-tester in the future, I’m your girl!

I love doing new workouts! Changing things up always makes you feel good and accomplished!
I prefer to run outside, but maybe that’s because I don’t have a twin to sweat and work it, work it, with me! Haha! Home workouts are so useful though, when the weather is horrible outside, or when you just don’t feel like stepping out much.
Hey ladies! I love hearing about your fitness adventures – you’re so inspiring to me. I love avocado puddings too – and many healing diets recommend eating at least one a day. They’re so expensive up here, though… But I loved seeing your variations, and low sugar too.
