Ooooh I get excited when I have all the ingredients for a recipe – could totally whip up some carrot cheez sauce RIGHT NOW! Oh, wait, I DON’T HAVE A VITAMIX! Or a food processor for that matter…ah, what a bad food blogger I am! Looks fabulous girls :)

Hey Ladies –

Just saw your last post as well. Sending you my warmest, most loving vibes and praying that all is well in your world.

Thanks for sharing the recipe – what a lovely sauce! I’d be tempted to put in a little nutritional yeast for the protein and the cheezy taste ;) Also, white pepper and nutmeg are great cheezy flavorers :)

I’m off to visit my in-laws for almost 3 weeks tmrw, can’t take vita with me, alas (only had it a few weeks and can’t imagine being without it!) so will have to try making this when I get back home. I could imagine it being delicious over cabbage kraut, or wakame, or beet slaw, or, or…

love
Ela

Awesome recipe! It looks pretty simple too. We’ve made carrot pesto before and it turned out amazing, we will have to try this one out…:)

Just made this for dinner and I love love love the colour. It’s like that orange mac and cheese sauce! I subbed tahini for sunflower seed butter and a bit of olive oil. Turned out awesome!

This was incredible! I omitted half the salt, use this as a spread in homemade spelt tortillas with spiralized golden beets, sprouts, and red onion. Thanks for posting this!

Hi Girls,
Thanks for the sauce idea…I tweaked it a little and put it on chopped up zucchini and spaghetti squash for a delicious flour and dairy free “macaroni and cheese” pasta! Even my husband loved it! Here is the recipe if you want to try it: http://www.integratednaturalnutrition.com/updated-mac-cheese/
