I would love to win this. My favorite veg is the sweet potato. I love these any way but nothing beats a roasted one sprinkled with candied pecans:)

Kale.. i juice it every day! I also steam it, fry it and make the most awesome kale chips.
Take some getting used to but the health benefits are way up there above any others and you can literally feel your insides thanking you :)
Have a good one!

I “liked” Living Harvest a long time ago. The only hemp milk product that I can get in Saint George, UTAH is the frozen dessert–which I buy when I’m feeling rich (which isn’t often these days!). It is the best-tasting alternative to ice cream, which I can’t eat because of lactose intolerance. My fav veggie is fresh-picked asparagus, but when that isn’t available, hmmm, probably pickled beets, artichokes, lightly steamed kale or brussels sprouts, or red onions. Canned and mashed up sweet potatoes make for the best rising (and best-tasting) bread I have ever made in my breadmaker, btw–you should try it.

Favorite vegetable? Hardest question ever :) If I could only have one vegetable it would have to be broccoli. (I “like” Tempt on facebook)

Reply

Danielle October 19, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Swiss chard or Kale – great for juicing too!

Reply

Zee October 19, 2010 at 12:34 pm

artichokes…. MMMMMM!!!! Not raw because they must be steamed, but the ultimate comfort food.

I have been liking tempt for awhile!

It is tough to pick just one favorite veggie, but I will have to go with corn. But kale is a very close second. As someone who is lactose intolerant, hemp products are a delicious alternative to dairy. :-)

My favorite veggie would have to be Sweet Potatoes! I love to either make them into fries or have them plain topped with a little bit of sea salt, butter buds, and pumpkin spice.

Favorite veggie? How is it possible???? My husband’s heirloom tomatoes are amazing in the summer, baby spinach makes my heart sing in salads. But I think right now the favorite is the humble sweet potato. Smoothies, soups, baked, in hash in chili. They’re versatile, sweet, savory, everything good!

My FAVORITE vegetable is BRUSSELS SPROUTS! I eat them almost every day. In scary-huge amounts. With hummus.

1. That pumpkin socca with coconut butter and yacon syrup? Wow. Drool worthy. Inspired. Yum! Sing along ladies: “these are a few of my favorite things….!”

2. My favorite vegetable? Toughie. I’m a sweet potato nut, but kale is also a front runner. And broccoli. Yum!

3. If it helps… I do “like” Living Harvest! :-)

It’s so hard to pick a favorite veggie, but if I absolutely had to, I think I would go with cucumbers. I can eat 3 or 4 a day in the summer, plain… They’re just so easy to snack on, and so refreshing!

Off to go “like” Living Harvest right now. :)

Hi! I’m katelyn, I’m 17 and I love your site because I’m the only person in my family who loves raw/vegan/healthy foods and it helps a lot to read and be inspired by you guys. And your recipes are so great I can even get them to eat out of their norm sometimes! Anyways, I “liked” living harvest on fb, andd I think my favorite vegetable would have to be kale, it’s versatile and i like it in juices and smoothies, and I’m one of the weirdos that actually enjoy it just raw in salads, or in massaged salads. My second fave is roasted broccoli and cauliflower though! And avocados, although they’re a fruit technically. Can’t even keep too many in the house or I’d eat them all day. Thanks! Keep up the awesome work

I’ve got to say…kabocha squash is probably my most favorite of the moment (but I think it’s too sweet for my body right now, sadly – it throws it into a bloated, bitchy tizzy) OH wait, isn’t that a fruit?

Reply

Rae October 21, 2010 at 2:32 am

My favorite veggie is broccoli – it is tasty raw or cooked and it goes well with many toppings or even just plain.

Reply

shannonmarie October 21, 2010 at 5:50 am

That’s a great giveaway. Too bad I’m not on Facebook and I have trouble narrowing down a favorite veggie. I love greens, of course, but sweet potatoes are definitely ranked up there. When I was a baby, I ate so many sweet potatoes, squash and carrots that I actually turned orange.

It seems as if my favorite veggie changes with the season, but right now I cannot get enough of roasted brussel sprouts. Yum! Thanks for remind me–think I’ll make some for lunch today. ANd thanks for the giveaway! I just “liked” Living Harvest.

Melissa October 21, 2010 at 7:42 am

My favorite cooked vegetable is broccoli because it soaks up all the sauce in which you are cooking it.

My favorite raw vegetable is the delicious carrot!

reva skie October 21, 2010 at 9:07 am

You cannot beat a fresh off the vine, home grown tomato. Favorite veggie (it’s not still a fruit, is it?) of all time.

Brittney October 21, 2010 at 9:42 am

Liked Living Harvest on Facebook! Ok, my favorite veggie… Hmmm, I love almost all veggies, this is tough. I’ll go with spinach though because it’s so versatile. Good in smoothies, omelets, stir-fry, salad… Good raw or cooked. Spinach is pretty awesome :)

Erica October 21, 2010 at 12:53 pm

Favorite vegetable? It’s basically impossible for me to pick one but it would have to be either brussels sprouts or buttercup squash!

And I ‘liked’ living harvest on facebook. :)
