Remember when I asked about camera help well…
check out my new camera
I got a Nikon D3000.
Thanks to my wonderful family for an early Christmas gift ; )
I got the Nikon because my older sister has one, she likes Nikon products, plus if I have a problem she can help me! And we can share lenses and stuff ; )
My camera bag.
I am actually a little nervous and scared to use this camera, because I have never had such a nice one. I hope to watch the DVD on it today, and then start playing with it!!
Does anyone else have a Nikon? Any tips?
Why did I get a new camera? Well besides upgrading from my very old Canon powershot….I am going to FOODBUZZ blogger festival!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited and nervous!!! I remember seeing all the great photos and reading about it last year, and thought that sounds like fun…food, wine and friends, perfect! So I decided I will go this year. It is just me going, Lori will not be attending 
maybe next year.
Who else is going to foodbuzz?? Please let me know so we can meet ; )
Okay I better go learn how to use this camera, haha. Lori and I hope this camera will help with our quality of pictures for our recipes 
That is if I can figure it out!

I love my Nikon DSLR. I actually bought the “For Dummies” book to help me through some of the more complicated steps with the camera. It really breaks it down for you. Good luck and enjoy. I have had my Nikon over a year and I still treat it like my baby.

Congrats! The camera looks daunting but awesome. Great t-shirt you’re wearing there too. Just right for getting ready for food buzz! I know so little about that and would love to learn more vicariously through you guys. Hope you have a great trip and meet some great friends.

i have not gotten any calls yet. I guess you figured out how to put the lense on the camera body, LOL! watch your tutorial! Don’t get anything on that lense! No food, no scratches.

New camera!!! Wheeee!!! I’ve been shooting Nikon for years, started on a d50, and just upgraded to d90. Swoon. Love Nikon. Such amazing color clarity. Such lovely sharp lenses. Have fun with your new baby, and how awesome about going to FoodBuzz. Sounds like a great time!
