I am grateful

by Lori and Michelle on November 5, 2010

What a day my friends!

There is so much to do and see in San Francisco!! I love it.

This morning was very chilly ; )

We had breakfast a lovely cafe thanks to Kath!

Bread and Cocoa! It was perfect! Cute and cozy.

I kept my breakfast simple, since I do not normally eat breakfast besides a green smoothie.

Fruit salad and coffee ; )

Balanced breakfast, right?? haha

Good thing I brought snacks with me, like brownie bites and socca!

Next up was photography session with Ashley.

I learned a lot, but also learned I still have a lot to learn! But I am so grateful Ashley sharing her knowledge with us.

I am also grateful for yoga!

Kath, Natalie, Gina, and I headed to Yoga for the People for a wonderful yoga ; )

Just Perfect!

We sure have walked a lot here, but all worth it, especially because we had lunch at Cafe Gratitude!

I hope to get to Cafe Gratitude someday. It looks so good. Raw pizzas sometimes disappoint, the place here does not have the best kind either. I prefer my own recipe! As I am sure you do too.

The pie looks soooo good. I’ve made it before and it’s one of my faves.

:) looks like an amazing day. I could use one of those. The yoga room is so beautiful and bright with light, and the food looks delish. So happy you’re having a great time. I think you deserve the break :)

I love Cafe Gratitude too – for their concept and warm atmosphere.

Though I wouldn’t say all of their food is fabulous. The pesto pizza is quite disappointing and I tried their seaweed Asian salad and it was kinda chewy and tasteless.

BUT their desserts rock and so do their raw enchiladas.

What an amazing day! I’ve been to the Berkeley Cafe Gratitude, but not the SF location yet. So glad you’re here for the FoodBuzz fest and hope to meet you soon!

Looks like you are having a great time in SF Michelle!
And omg, that coconut cream pie looks divine (as does the other food you had, holy yum!) if you recreate that sometime please share the recipe, it looks really delicious!
I wish there were restaurants like that here in the Raleigh area (I am in Cary and doing my masters degree at NCSU).

I’m so glad you got to Cafe Gratitude! Sampler plate looks beautiful. I agree the pizzas are not the best, but a lot of the other entrees are great. And the desserts are excellent, of course!

love

Cafe Gratitude is one of my favorite places. I recommend the enchilada (usually offered as a special) the next time you’re there.
