Day 2 Disney Expo

by Lori and Michelle on January 8, 2011

Thanks for all the sweet comments about our Disney Expo plus good luck wishes for our race!

Breakfast was a lots of coffee and bananas. Oh and a grapefruit and Vega!

We did not do a good job at planning our meals for this race and working at the Disney expo as we usually do. We forgot to bring our blender to make smoothies and puddings :( So having to make due with what we got.

The second day at the expo was crazy! Lots of people…lots of talking…lots of athletic bamboo shirt selling…and we even managed to do better at drinking water and even snacking than day 1.

After a successful day at the expo it was time to head to hotel and get some food and rest before the half marathon.

Dinner was socca.

In addition to not having much food prepared, we were not as organized as our marathon that we did a year ago. But hey…it worked for us this time!

um ya that is our pile of clothes that we are running in, haha, wardrobe courtesy of Raw Threads.

See you all on the other side of the finish line :) We will give a re-cap of our half marathon race soon!

We are back from the race, but have to hurry to get back to the booth. Today is the last day of the expo, so come by if in the Orlando – Disney area.

Oh my goodness, what a whirlwind, in the thick of things post! Congrats on finishing the marathon: sounds like it was a rush and crazy a bit? I hope that you’re getting some good rest and recreation at the end of it. You girls are incredible.
