Pepper Sunflower Bread Recipe

raw sunflower seed bread

Hello luvs,

Today we are super busy but wanted to leave you all with a new recipe we have been playing around with and loving.  This bread is raw, made in a dehydrator. But do not worry we will provide baking directions for those of you who do not have a dehydrator.

One thing we like about this recipe is that it is really simple and made with ingredients that most of us have on the shelf. If not, check out our post on where to buy ingredients! This pepper sunflower seed bread we cut into stripes to resemble breadsticks ;)

We were very pleased with the results of this bread, it came out a little cheezy with a pepper flavor :) We used the spices cardamom and cayenne for something different, and we like those flavors for this bread.

raw bread

Ever since getting more into raw foods and playing with our dehydrator we have come up with so many versions of breads, crackers and biscotti among other snacks ; which is what made us so new and fun at the farmers market when we started our company. We have received so many request from our customers how do we make our breads, but we can’t just give up those recipes just yet ;) but we did what to share this super easy recipe for you all to enjoy!

Till next time,

P2R Twins

Ohh lala!!!!! Thanks for including the substitutions too!!! I took a stab at making macaroons last night-they turned out “eh” I need to modify them a little to even come close to compare to twin cakes!

The bread looks delicious, girls! I thought it was polenta at first. You make me wish I had a dehydrator to make all of your wonderful recipes!

Hope things calm down and you get a chance to rest :-)

Would love to hear/see more about your BodyRock progress. I love BodyRock and done a few of the workouts, but was always curious as to what results I would get by sticking with it more consistently.

Is that one orange bell pepper, or some other kind of pepper? Beautiful recipes! I love the site. Have tried many of the recipes, and even shared them successfully with my non raw family. Thanks!

Pure2 April 10, 2011 at 7:03 pm

Gayla – thank you for sharing! yes orange bell pepper, but could use any pepper.

Delicious!
My only problem is, it’s sticking to the parchment paper…
This is the first raw recipe I tried though:)
