Despite the rainy weekend, it was magical, moving, and memorable!

Thank goodness for pretty flowers

You know when you have those moments where you just do not want it to end…well this whole weekend was that for me!

I’m engaged to the man of my dreams.

My engagement story…

We stayed at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville for what I thought was an early birthday present but little did I know my life would be changed forever!

We went to the Biltmore House Estate for the afternoon.

We enjoyed the gardens. *and yes Gary had the ring with him the whole time waiting for the right moment to propose…but never really had a ‘good’ moment so he kept waiting

After exploring the gardens and the estate we headed over to the winery

We enjoyed the Biltmore House Estate Winery, had a great time sampling all their wines. I still had no idea about what was going to happen that evening!

After a fun day at the Biltmore Estate and the Winery we headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner on the terrace.

*we had dinner reservations at 7:30pm Friday evening but Gary wanted to walk around before hand very sneaky…so we went to the back of the hotel to walk around and we stopped at one little terrace off to the side with the mountains in the back. It was a little cold and windy so naturally I was like “Gary when can we go inside”. So Gary had to ‘hurry up’; so he got down on one knee and ask me to marry him! I was in complete shock and was saying “Gary you are kidding with me?” That is when he pulled out the ring and I knew he was not kidding anymore! Of course I said YES!!! (and I found out that he even called my dad beforehand to get his blessing and the story of how we picked this ring is another great story)

We ordered ourselves a nice bottle of wine and had lots to talk about over dinner

A truly memorable weekend that I will never forget!!! Gary wanted a place that we could come back to for anniversary’s and this place is perfect for that! Gary you did an amazing job with planning this whole weekend out! I love you even more now!!!

I am a believer now! I found my prince 9 years ago and now we have the rest of our lives together! I am still sitting here in shock that I am engaged! I will share some of the wedding happenings and such as I plan everything out
