fishing time and play time

by lori on July 1, 2011

Hello from the Florida Keys friends! Loved hearing everyone’s airplane/airport stories! Well we finally made it to our final spot for the next few days. We hope if you are traveling this weekend please be safe and have fun!

Michelle’s passenger for the road trip….

our room has a great view of the marina

after checking out our room we decided to hit up the marina

to go fishing..well the boys went fishing I just watched

I was the official photo taker

Gary did not catch anything

so pretty here…water crystal clear

me at pier acting like I went fishing

went back upstairs to help un-pack all our food… yummy snacks from Twin Cakes Bakery (we can’t live without our crackers and biscotti as we travel)

I think we have enough food haha…there is 7 people here plus a little one

plus brought along some Twin Cakes dry mixes

blueberry scones for breakfast

than it was time to play

I think my sister brought every toy in sight

Joy loves it here

almost walking

always have to read the paper to stay up-to-date with the latest happenings

always play time with Joy

she wanted to say hello to the camera person (michelle)

We are off to the pool…be back later!

Twins Question: Do you fish? Have you been to Florida Keys before? Are you traveling for the July 4th holiday weekend? What is your favorite thing to do while being at the beach?

till next time, xoxo

Lori

Love the vacation pics, especially the ones of your niece. She’s so cute. I think Hayden wants to come play with her. She looked at the screen and got excited. “Mommy, baby,” she keeps shouting.

Love the pics (and the baby!). It’s so much fun to travel…and with family in Florida sounds even better!

Enjoy your time there :)

No big plans here, but I’ve just been on a trip and have two more planned, so I think I’ll keep it low key for the 4th!

‘He didn’t catch anything’–up here, they say “that’s why it’s called ‘fishing,’ not ‘catching’!

My husband eats a lot of fish, so we tend to go fishing (I help out). Actually, he often goes with his guy friends and I stay home, which suits me fine–even on a nice day, it’s _cold_ out there on the water!

Thanks for showing what you’re up to–looks like a great time with the lovely baby.
love

love the marina shot with the dock! i havent been fishing in ages!! i want to be adopted by you girls—that household is gonna have some good eats! i’ve only been to the keys once but i had a blast!! my fave thing to do at the beach is just wading in the water and coming out onto the beach to scunch my toes in the sand and dry off with the sea breeze. it’s pretty much the most peaceful feeling on earth for me!
