We have a fun post this morning showing where we workout.
As many of you know we workout at home. We have been doing this for over a year. We cancelled our gym membership to save on money, and now we are not sure if we will ever go back. We love the convenience of working out at home.
We can do our HIIT (usually a bodyrock workout), jump roping, and yoga intervals all in our home.
Just have to rearrange the furniture sometimes
workout equipment – yoga mats, exercise ball, sandbags, jump rope, Gymboss Interval Timer, and we love working out in our Vibram Fives!
We normally workout at Lori’s place, it has a little more room plus our equipment is there.
All we need is floor space to get a good sweat in.
What about you? do you workout – at a gym or at home or a studio?
We would love to see where you workout, share your pictures and we will post them here on the blog (if you want). And we are thinking of putting together a goodie basket and pick a random winner of the pictures we receive, would you guys like that? Get your pictures in by Wednesday! You can email us (twins at pure2raw.com) or put them up on our facebook page.
Till next time,
p2r twins

I used to workout at home for years because we didn’t have an affordable gym; we even got an elliptical! Then we moved, started running and decided to get a family membership at the YMCA. I have found for me I do better if I separate my home and gym time otherwise I think about all the other things I need to do. I also love having the treadmill (dreadmill) for stormy days, the classes and especially the pool.
I workout at home and outside. I posted some photos of me working out for the Strong Is Sexy finess challenge on my blog recently but will definitely post a pic on Facebook!
Nice to share the areas we coat in sweat
I didn’t realize you only workout at home–that’s awesome! My gym membership just ended and because I’m going back to school, I’m in no position to renew. So I will be all about more at-home workouts. I should probably expand my horizons beyond Jillian’s 30 Day Shred (currently my one and only workout DVD)!
I don’t have a place I work out at home yet…I just moved here, and I’ll definitely have to do more unpacking before I have floor space! I love working out at home though…so convenient!
I am all about working out at home too! Totally wish I had hardwood floors though.. Sometimes insanity workouts with a lot of shuffle type moves are tricky on carpet.
I work out early every morning in my basement–we have an elliptical down there and I lay a yoga mat on my cat hair-covered rug for leg and ab toning. It’s certainly not the ideal space, offering views of my washing machine and water heater with no natural light, but hey, it’s free! Whenever I’m away from home, I go for an outside run and find any open space for conditioning.
I really want to send pics! I workout at home and have been for over 2 yrs now.. Hopefully I get power back soon so I can send you guys some
Haha so I tried working out at my apartment back in Columbus, and my downstairs neighbors complained
Not so good! But now I’m in a first floor place and working out at home isn’t so bad!
That said, I have a gym at work, AND I belong to a local gym. I know that sounds excessive, but it seems to be what I need to keep myself motivated!
I let my gym membership lapse late last month and am currently working out at home, too. I miss the gym a little bit, just for the change of scenery, but saving cash is great!
I will have to wait to post pictures AFTER my son goes to bed. This is when I have the space without hot wheels everywhere!
I’m a big fan of the gym – mostly for the motivation. I don’t really have anyone to work out with, but if I did I think I’d be more inclined to work out at home. I do love the bodyrock workouts, though, because they don’t even give you time to think!
I just moved into my new place (back at school!) an we have a huge gym in the basement of the dorm building, so I’m pretty psyched to get back there. I do love all of the group fitness classes at my gym at home (pilates especially) and I will definitely miss that. I’ll have to find some workout buddies to make up for it!
Ha–great idea! I work out in our tiny cabin, or on the rowing machine we have outside, on the very edge of the bluff. I think I have a couple photos–will try to send them to you.
Plus hiking and biking…
I Just go for jogs in the morning and do yoga videos sometimes
