Lori and I have been busy girls since being back in town, and we are actually leaving again this weekend. Crazy. But this trip will be fun, because going home to FL to do wedding stuff
In the meantime, we have been managing to get some workouts in the form of bodyrock and Physique.
Love short and sweaty workouts.
On my journey across the country and back I started reading a new book, which I previewed on Instagram (which both Lori and I have our own accounts, so come follow along with us through pictures)
Love love love it so far! I am about half way through, and cannot wait to share more on this book.
I also finished Tina’s Book on my traveling journey. Loved it! I struggle with many of the issues Tina talked about in her book, so it was nice to know I am not alone, like with overdoing it on desserts, drinks, and learning to open up to others. I am a shy person, and have a hard time sharing things with others. But working on it, the blog helps with that.
Next up as mentioned, Lori and I are working on some changes here on the blog. First one being we are no longer with Foodbuzz, trying out a new sponsor.
Remember when I went to webdesign school, and I did create a photography website for it. I have not mentioned it yet on the blog for many reasons:
1. was not sure what I wanted to do with it
2. did not have time for it
3. kept changing the look and design of it (which it is still a mess)
I finished school right before my birthday and life after got busy, so never spent much time on it. I realized that I never really talked about finishing school and what my plans are with it. I am still unsure.
Well over the weeks months as Lori and I changed things over on our photography blog, we decided as much as we want to learn more about photography we just cannot keep up with running two blogs, running a bakery, and working part-time on the weekends selling shirts….and somewhere in there plan a wedding and have a life.
We have had this book for months now, hopefully soon we will get to read it.
So we are working on some changes here on pure2raw.com instead.
We hope our readers do not mind the changes.
We are going to share more photography here. Share more travels here.
We want to make pure2raw more than just about our health journey, sharing recipes, and our love of fitness.
Okay maybe not ALL of our life, but I think you understand. Lori and I hope you all stick around for a new chapter for us. And hopefully we can deliver too.
We hope by announcing it here, will help us stick to it.
So for now our once to be photography blog, is going to be my playground for learning PHP coding. In school I learned HTML coding, which I understand, but wordpress is PHP coding, a whole other language, so have been learning it on my own through trial and error
We are still trying to figure it all out. How exactly we want to do things. Trying to work on a new header. Work in progress.
In the mean time as we figure things out, we do have a yummy recipe for you tomorrow! Something we have been working on for weeks now.
Twins Question: What would you like to see more here on our blog? Any thoughts or suggestions?
Till next,
Michelle

aww thanks Natalie
I need to work on my php skills too… I know like nothing about it! HTML yes, php no. Do you have any good book recommendations for that?
I’m excited for your new chapter and journey. I’ll be watching to see where you go
Heather, I have two wordpress books, but have found them to be not very helpful, so no books yet. But I will let you know.
I think adding more on photography would be great. A lot of bloggers are photo geeks too and I think most would appreciate it.
I love reading loveveggiesandyoga and she blogs just as much about “other stuff” as food.
Randomly just saw this comment but thanks for reading my blog & liking my format
I have such a long list of changes I want to make to my blog, but have not had time lately!
I’d love to see more of your decision to leave Foodbuzz and why you decided on the current sponsor. Also more health updates, food journals, and recipes.
let us know how the books are!
I love Plate to Pixel. It’s my fave photography book, period. Food photographers need that book. Really all photographers do. I love it. Best book ever!
I created a new website for myself recently too!
And yes, blogging, other websites, parenting, work..balancing it all & having a life is tricky!
LMK how things go w/ your new sponsor!
I would LOVE to get some more twins baking tips…not just recipes. More on behind the scenes of when you girls get in there and create! How you get inspired, etc!
I am going on Amazon now to get those books! Thanks for sharing!
I don’t have suggestions, but I’m excited to see what you come up with!
Love to see other stuff in addition to food! Love to see the personality, as a brownie is just a brownie!
Love to get the essence of the gals behind the brownie!

Hope you’re getting some relax/chill/breathe time with that hectic schedule.
I’m glad that you’ve figured out a way to explore your love of photography without curating a whole other blog. Love to see whatever you care to share. I’m in such awe that you’re teaching yourself php code!
