hello luvs,
first off Michelle and I just want to say thank you thank you thank you for all the amazing comments from our issues with skin and stomach yesterday. it means the world to us to hear from so many of you and know that we are not alone with those issues. so many of you provided such great advice that we plan on incorporating in our life. so again THANK YOU! HUGS!
today we have a simple and tasty recipe that we have been enjoying lately and while traveling for our breakfast. it keeps us full and satisfied. plus it is naturally gluten-free, vegan and raw and full of essential nutrients!
it is made from our go-to breakfast – chia pudding
we just love our chia seeds! they make it so easy to whip up a quick breakfast.
Pure2raw recipe: Chia seed tahini pudding
prep-time: 10 minutes
tools needed: bowl or large cup
Ingredients:
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons tahini (ground sesame seeds)
optional add-ins: banana, maple syrup, stevia, coconut flakes, or any fruit of choice. plus you can add in any flavorings of choice.
Directions:
place water in a large bowl or cup and add in tahini and chia seeds. stir till well combined. let mixture sit for about 10 minutes.
we like our chia seed puddings sometimes on the thick side so we use less water. so please adjust to your liking.
the tahini provided such a savory flavor to this chia seed breakfast pudding.
though want does not taste amazing with a little tahini on top?
we left this chia seed pudding on the simple side with the flavors from the tahini and chia seeds shining through. adding in some cinnamon or vanilla would be a nice touch as well if you wanted.
this breakfast pudding recipe is full of fiber, healthy fats, omega’s and calcium! now go make yourself this chia seed tahini pudding promise you will enjoy it as much as we did. and it is good for you too.
Twins Question: Do you like savory or sweet breakfast? Do you like chia seed puddings on the runny side or thick side? What is your favorite way to enjoy tahini?
off to the kitchen we go.
till next time,
xoxo
Lori

I’m definitely a sweets for breakfast kind of person. And your chia pudding just looks too easy! That’s it?! YUM. I’m still needing breakfast this morning…. maybe that’s it!

You have inspired my love of tahini! Before a few weeks ago, I had only used it in dressings and hummus, and never thought to try it on other things – but now I love it! For sweet and savory things. Right now i’m enjoying my tahini over warm roasted squash and sweet potatoes. I generally like a sweet breakfast, because it generally takes care of crazy sweet cravings for the day. Some days, though, I’ll wake up and crave savory. Gotta love the versatility of chia!

I’m a savory breakfast gal through and through. I’d rather have leftovers of dinner than sweet waffles any day! I loveeee the look of this pudding! Does this make 2 servings or 1?
Katie it depends on the person but I would say 2
Looks delicous! I cant find any chia seeds where I live though
But once I find them I will def try this recipe!

Hi Lori and Michelle!
I just made this and left it in the fridge for tomorrow morning. Is it breakfast for one or more? Just noticed that a serving of chia seeds is 1 Tbsp… Thanks!
Kristin we say it makes about 2 servings! well at least we shared it when we ate it.
