hello friends!
this morning we are sharing 7 things that helped us (and still helping us) to workout daily.
we just love anything fitness related. we have always been that way. we have always enjoyed moving our bodies to look good in the end. we hope to inspire you and motivate you to start working out today! we have shared our ideas for staying active on days when you just do not feel like working out.
remember it is never too late to get moving to make a difference! you can do it!
7 things that help motivate us to keep up with our workouts:
1) keeping our bodies strong and healthy so we can live a long healthy life.

2) look good when we are 50 years old (come on we all want to look good when we are older right?)
3) find others that motivate you to workout ( we like to follow other fitness enthusiasts like us to get us in the mood)

like Zuzana with bodyrock tv motivates us daily
4) feel amazing when the workout is over. each workout makes us feel sexy and stronger physically and mentally. helps with self-esteem. like we can conquer the world.
each day we get better results in ourselves and workouts.
5) get to wear cute workout clothes (we feel when we wear the ‘cute’ outfit it helps motivate us even more)

6) think about the bigger picture when you think of fitness and workouts. where you want to be in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, etc. how do you want to look? how do you want to feel?

7) and well, we love to eat and have a few cocktails, so we balance it out with working out. it is all about balance but having fun while doing it.

jump roping is one way we to like to mix things up for cardio
we recommend always making working out fun. make sure you are mixing things up. try new things but always make it enjoyable for you!
find that one or two exercise related things that you look forward to and stick with them. and find a workout buddy to help keep you on track and motivated. we joined the amazing group of fitness lovers over at FitFluential. now we are apart of a large community of bloggers and fitness minded individuals that all come together for one mission to help motivate and inspire others to reach their own fitness goals.
here on our blog we shall continue to show what we are doing for our workouts in hopes to get others to enjoy it as much as we do. as well as share what has worked for us in terms of results! we all want to be healthy and feel great, so let’s do it together!
Twins Question: do you have any tips or motivational things that helps with your workouts? what keeps you on track with your fitness goals? anyone tried something new and liked it?
till next time,
xoxo

Great tips! I think keeping the workout fun is a definite rule to stick by! And having that pic of a perfect bod totally helps, too. Keep it up ladies! You are doing great keeping active and eating healthy.

Thanks Christine!
I cannot identify with you when you say you have always liked to exercise. I’m the complete opposite. I’m still not on a regular plan but some thing that have helped me in the past are…
doing something I really enjoy (I love racquetball and we actually built our own court in our backyard, so I have no excuse!)
having an exercise partner (in my case it’s my kids or husband playing racquetball with me)
being accountable to someone (I’ve started clubs where we obligate ourselves to exercise a certain amount and if we don’t keep our committment, we have to pay a small amount of $$ – like $5. This competition was enough to keep me motivated.)
I found this post motivating and I really like the idea of mixing things up. You showed a jump rope. I haven’t done that in a long time!

you are too kind
I love your motivators! It’s definitely a “way” of life
Cute workout clothes motivate as well as the sense of empowerment I get from challenging my body in new ways!

I definitely workout before I eat because it’s my “motivation” to earn it! It helps me and it totally makes sense. I also think about how good I’m going to feel after I conquered a hard or intense workout. That “high” feeling you get after working out is really all that makes it desirable and worth it. I enjoy setting a motivating example for others to prove that girls can workout and also with correct form.
so true Jessica!
After a good workout, I feel motivated. Sounds strange, but I love being sore-it feels good to me because I know I worked hard.

totally agree with you Alex!
I love feeling strong. The feeling of being able to lift something heavy with little effort or walk up 6 flights of stairs with ease is beyond amazing. Also, if I’m ever not feeling a workout, I remember how much it energizes me afterwards – it never fails

Great list and philosophy. The same things motivate me to work out and I am in better shape now (post-baby) than I’ve ever been in my life. Fitness is definitely a lifestyle. A fabulous habit you’ll never regret, once you get it to stick.

i love those cute shorts from raw threads (the ones that look like hot yoga shorts?) what helps motivate me is 1. i feel good doing it 2. i also want to look good and have as few health probs as possible in my elder years! 3. i like the way i look keeping active 4. my partner also wants me to be healthy! i finally found a good balance in 3-4x weekly. doing bodyrock 6x a week was becoming very taxing on my body! i was so tired haha and my job is fairly active so i think i was getting burned out! i try to keep switching things up so i don’t get bored and continue to be inspired for my workouts.
