party time

by michelle on December 29, 2011

I started my day yesterday off right with a good workout workout tennis shoesa quick 10 minute HIIT workout

replenished with a smoothie

green smoothies in mason jarsmade enough for 4 as my mom and two older sisters and I were busy in the kitchen making things for our holiday party, and needed fuel to keep us going

I got busy making some raw desserts – first our chocolate cream cake, same ones we made for our sweater holiday party

chocolate cheesecake fillingthe best part is always cleaning out the blender when done!

dirty vitamix blendernext up raw lime coconut cheesecake, or cream cake as I like to call it. As it is not really cheesecake, but more a cream filled cake

dairy free cheesecakea new recipe and it came out perfect! I was practicing this recipe for Lori’s wedding. actually both of these desserts will be featured at her wedding.

coconut lime cheesecakes

raw cheesecakesaren’t they cute??

after making lots of other goodies with the older sis, I was off to get myself ready

me dressed up for partyI clean up pretty well, huh??

then this little one arrived, now the party started

love playing with my niece, she is getting so big

just too much fun when she is around

back to party prep

I secretly stashed some of these for us to enjoy later, as I know they would be gone.

ever see a fireplace by a pool?? haha  we do not a fireplace, so this works great

drink station

Cheers!

I had one too many of these ;)

party was so much fun as always and I guess no one was hungry

even desserts were wiped out

good think I save me some cheesecakes

and as I sit here I am hydrating the body, aka trying to cure my hangover and get my voice back. from all the talking (and dehydration) I lost my voice by the end of the night. and I am the type of person that can chat and chat once I got a few drinks in me. my sister jokes and calls me chatty cathy, haha

coconut and fresh juice

fresh carrot juice

my mom has a nice juicer, so I have been enjoy fresh juice everyday I have been home. I forgot how much I love them. wonder if it can fit in my suitcase, ha

well thanks for allowing me to share my day yesterday. the party was a lot of fun. good seeing old family friends, as well as meet new people. it is funny now because I am seeing kids I used to babysit and they are all grow-up!! crazy

till next time,

michelle

You clean up beautifully! And what a fun party that looks like. Those cream cakes are especially gorgeous–love how every party for a while will give you the opportunity to perfect something for Lori’s wedding.

Maybe you should ask the easter bunny for a juicer!
