behind the scenes

by Lori and Michelle on February 24, 2012

hello friends!

how is everyone’s day going so far? good we hope.

as we mentioned earlier we are selling at the Disney Princess half marathon.

but we wanted to share with you all our day Thursday of setting up the booth. always a fun and long day. luckily we did not run into any real major problems.

holding plank in hotelbefore we got to work for the day we got up and did our workout.

we just made some room in our hotel room. we can always seem to make our workouts work no matter what size room we have. we grabbed our Gymboss Interval Timer and set it for a 3 minute countdown for us to hold our plank a day. we are still just doing 3 minutes. maybe next week we will increase the time.

after our plank holding we did bodyrock tv hotel room workouthow appropriate right? haha

we loved doing this 12 minute interval workout again it has been awhile since we last did it. it does not require a lot of room and we just used our own body weight for the squats. hopefully one day we will travel with our sandbags.

eggs and coffee at the disney resortpost workout we enjoyed some hard boiled eggs (thanks to Pops Century food court) with some Starbucks Via coffee

banana tahinisecond breakfast was Michelle’s favorite banana tahini mixture.

Lori all ready for set up time.

sporting our Mizuno shoes this weekend.

and the fun begins

setting up raw threads booth

look who is across from us

TOMS!!! love these shoes

we got all the girls in our family a pair for Christmas. love their whole mission about giving a pair of shoes to a child with every purchase!!!!

we forgot to bring along snacks, so all we could find to eat at the expo was apples.

but we still had smiles on our faces

and one advantage of helping out on setup day is a sneak peak into some of the new designs, which we got an okay from the boss to share them here. *to stay up to date with what we are doing check us out over at raw threads.

and our favorite shirt -

lori modeling the STRONG IS SEXY shirt!!

we have been bugging our sister to make a shirt like this and she surprised us with it. we love it!!

after a long day we got the booth just about ready

and we enjoyed another late dinner at Pop Century Food Court. it was a different chef but he was wonderful in making us a salmon platter with just veggies no rice.

and we enjoyed some pulp crackers and thin mints too!

we did do some videos of our time here, just not sure if we will have time to edit those. so for now we have our iphones to share about our time here at the Disney Princess Half Marathon!

Twins Question: What is your favorite color to workout in? What is your favorite bottom (shorts, pants, capris, skirts) to workout in?

till next time,

xoxo

my fave color to workout in is either eggplant or kelly green. i love wearing capris, i just can’t do the full length pant if i’m working out…i guess my calves need to breathe lol? mmmm hard boiled eggs are always great in a pinch! packed with nutrition!

You girls are such good sports! Having nothing but apples for snacks can be a heavy day.

I love fitting in workouts into whatever space I can find.

I tend to wear black all the time, and I like shorts or capris. Black isn’t really the best color to work out in, so maybe gray would be better…

I just discovered tahini and have been adding it to lots of different things. Tahini salad dressing is my favourite so far! My favourite colour top to work out in is pink or purple. For bottoms I prefer running shorts, fitted shorts or capris that go just below the knee. I like different coloured bottoms too…not just black. I have purple, blue, and grey bottoms to keep things a bit more interesting.

Favorite color: black, never looks sweaty, makes you look thinner than you are. Prefer capri’s over other styles because you can do situps, and you can do all of kinds of Callisthenics without worrying about flashing anybody! LOL. Thanks for all of your help this week and weekend at the Disney’s Princess Half Marathon weekend, already excited for the 2013 one!

I usually just work out in pop-colored, plain, fitted T-shirts from Target, but these are just too cute. I love the Beer Run shirt. I’m going to hop on over to Raw Threads right now and have a look at the store!
