i’m def no vegan either, i guess i would be if i ditched meat (since i don’t eat dairy) but that’s besides the point lol. i eat a lot of vegan foods though during the day! i have hemp protein shakes, nuts/seeds and big salads or steamed veg to compliment my fish or meat protein. my fave source is choosing raw for mains and you guys for salad/dessert ideas!

mmmm you two eat such gorgeous food. I would just love to have you cook for me everyday :) I don’t eat vegan food very often, if ever actually! I just don’t have the creativity to put together filling, nourishing meals that don’t involve animal products- but I admire your ability to be able to!

What a great list! I want to start baking with buckwheat. My favorite vegan recipe? Either a cashew cream marinara or vegan pumpkin bars!

Whenever you post a bunch of food pics, I get hungry!
I’m mostly into avocado pudding or coconut cream pudding for my vegan eats…
Mostly everything else I eat now has something non-vegan in it!

Wow, amazing collection of recipes. I’m a new vegan and I can’t wait to try out your recipes. I just have a question about the lentil burger…. Can I use regular cooked lentils or it has to be only sprouted lentils?

Lori and Michelle March 4, 2012 at 7:39 pm

Patti yes you can use regular cooked lentils. let us know if you need help with anything.

How come all your recipes look so amazing?! Thank you for such an inspiring post, Pure2Raw is one of my favourite blogs for vegan recipes and I love how you use Stevia – So many other vegan recipe’s use sugar which makes it difficult when converting measurements to Stevia. My favourite vegan recipe at the moment is Eggplant Parmigiana – I adapted it from Skinny Bitch in the Kitch. You can see the full recipe here http://livehealthysimply.com/2012/02/eggplant-parmigiana/ :)

I am interested in what you do eat now if you are not vegans anymore? What did you introduce back into your diets. I have been contemplating this issue for awhile with myself. These recipes look amazing.

Lori and Michelle March 5, 2012 at 8:42 am

Meg we have done a few posts before about not being vegans. We have been non vegans for over a year now. Through our personal journey of improving our health, we tried raw vegan and it helped some, but over time we added back eggs and fish. And now we enjoy a balanced vegetarian plant based diet with some eggs and fish mixed in. Everyone is different so find what works for you and what you are comfortable with. Please let us know if you need any more help.
