hello friends!
for those of you that already follow us on twitter, facebook and instagram you probably already heard the news.
these keys are to the future of our business – Twin Cakes Bakery!
we plan to share more about the decision and all the details here soon.
you can call us crazy but this month IS GOING to be CRAZY!
- we are moving the bakery
- we are moving Lori and Gary into their new home
- Lori and Gary are remodeling their new house
- Michelle’s lease for her place is coming up soon which means she will have to move as well
- and we have Lori’s wedding in 21 DAYS!!! and we are doing most things ourselves. very DIY kind of wedding.
we are trying to do all this and continue to help Lori’s face calm done from her acne. she is still dealing with breakouts and pimples. she is doing some more dietary changes to help. so far we are both doing well. somehow we are making it through one day at a time!

What an exciting time!
The thing I find about crazy weeks/months/years is that when it’s over and everything is accomplished, you sit down, re-live the memories and think: “Holy crap, I pulled all of that off by myself and I’m still doing okay.”

You girls have so many things to be excited for! I’m truly happy for you and am sure success will only come from this! I can’t wait to check the new bakery out! ahh LORI you must be so excited the wedding is within reach! I think the DIY is much better than those over the top weddings, more personable! Hi! Congrats and good luck with all your big moves/projects. Wondering if Lori has tried eliminating sources of fructose (including juice) , caffeine (including chocolate), and all alcohol? (All associated with negatively affecting the liver, which is often associated with skin issues. I think you mentioned cooked oil in a previous post, which also falls into this category.) I also swear by Cosmedix skin care products (especially the Rescue balm, which is really really calming). Anyway good luck, and thanks for writing such a great blog!
GK, yes we have done eliminations of those items. we are doing chocolate, alcohol, and coffee right now. thank you for commenting
