yes our family has a tradition that after Thanksgiving it is time to get all the Christmas decorations out. here are some of my favorite decorations so far

we are still waiting for our Christmas tree to be delivered to the house. hopefully soon the tree will be here!

as many of you probably already know that Steve Jobs diet last night.

I was in the kitchen doing work and heard it on the news. I stopped everything and stood still.

Michelle and I never had the opportunity to meet Steve or hear him speak anywhere but definitely Steve has changed our lives forever. we are huge MAC and Apple fans and plan to stay that way.

I am not sure what I would be doing without the world of technology these days. my businesses rely on it. sometimes I hate saying that I rely so much on technology but that is where the world has turned. and Steve really helped lead the way! so thanks Steve for creating Apple and especially the iphone!!

Steve had some really great words to live by.

I could only wish I was half as smart as Steve was. to lead the way of how the world works and views computers, phones, etc.

not sure where the future of technology is going to go but I am grateful for those who create ways for so many people to stay in touch and connect with those around the world. this blog is just that. a way to connect with you all. and technology has helped get us here.

thank you all for the sweet comments on my first re-cap of my trip here in Cincinnati. I am having a great time. Michelle did finally get home very late last night after a crazy time getting back.

today I have a few more pictures of what Gary and I have been up to here.

first up yesterday morning was breakfast at First Watch (which we have these in my home town in Florida, so it was great to see one here)

after some breakfast we headed to the local Art Museum

we had a fun time walking around looking at everything

I really enjoyed this area, a very cute quaint little part of Cincinnati

we stopped by a cute little coffee and sandwich cafe

Cincinnati has a huge fireworks show in honor of Labor day and we enjoyed them on the roof top along with many others. the weather was a little rainy but we still all enjoyed the fireworks.

we enjoyed a glass of wine on the roof top before heading back inside for dinner and before the fireworks started

hey friends,

how is everyone’s weekend going? mine has been great so far. as many of you know Michelle is in California at the Disneyland half marathon expo working with Raw Threads as I traveled to Cincinnati for the weekend to hang out with Gary. my day started early at 4:30am and I have been non-stop since I arrived this morning.

first I needed to freshen up some before heading to the farmers market

I was excited to check out the local farmers market, I enjoy going to different markets in different cities!  **this is a picture heavy post

this market was huge! there was an outside area plus a whole inside market too

I was having a good old time walking around looking at everything

it was packed, everyone getting ready for the holiday weekend

got some local fresh figs to enjoy

after walking around the farmers market we headed to Whole Foods to get some essentials

a little more wine and coconut water…. priorities haha

than it was time to go see some more Cincinnati and grab some lunch

a little hot out but still nice

nothing like a few cold drinks to cool us off

(yes I changed tops, I was a little hot so tank was perfect)

after lunch it was time to walk around some more

now back at the apartment relaxing…well I am blogging and Gary is sleeping

shouldn’t I be the one sleeping?!?! haha

Wishing we were still at the keys….but unfortunately we are back home trying to get motivated to unpack.

Dreaming of making one of our favorite comfort foods to help get us through the day.

We needed a little help getting focused today, so we pulled out our basket of self-care cards.

We know we might of over ate, drank too much, and had a lot of sugar over our vacation, but we lived in the moment! And loved every minute. We have no regrets. We know are bodies needed the change of pace in both our physical activity and in our daily eats. A good mental break as well!

We are feeling a little blah today, we know it is due to traveling and vacation coming to an end. But we know we will be getting back into our normal eats and routine again here soon.

We love vacation because we get to let lose, have fun, do and eat different things than we would normally.  We felt we did rejuvenate over our vacation!

And this past vacation happiness was – the beach, margaritas, fresh food, and family
