Hey I have been cooking gluten free for about a year now but just started getting into backpacking. I really like fresh ingredients but they tend to be a little heavier and spoil easily. I was wondering if you had any recipes that would keep easily while in the bush, would be light to carry (dehydrated?) but still have nutritional value.
There isn't a whole lot of support for food intolerences and lightweight camping food, I'm sure many people would benefit from it. There are also a lot of people who don't have the time/patients to prepare camp food- a lucrative opportunity no doubt. I wouldn't buy any of the camp food I've seen so a healthier option is definitely in need.
Ps: Your diverse recipes have been a blessing for my sister, they're very easy for me to adapt to the candida diet if they don't already comply, as most do.

Zoe yes we have a yogurt recipe http://www.pure2raw.com/2009/10/kombucha-tea-recipe-coconut-yogurt/ The lucuma powder in the recipe you can skip if you do not have it, we just use it for flavor and texture. Please let us know if you need any more help. Also, you can sub soaked cashews for the coconut meat. Glad you found us!!
